XRT– XIV RAID TOOLSRaid Plan Overlay
A lightweight ACT plugin designed to keep track of your raid's plans. Manage actions, raid reminders, and more directly in your game. Built to help statics and Party Finder clear content with less confusion.
How It Works
Simple Timeline
See your assigned actions in real time. The timeline counts down to each ability, highlighting what's coming next so you always know when to act.
Easy Plan Builder
Assign actions by role, not just by class. Tell Main Tank to use Reprisal and Off Tank to use Group Defensive—each player sees only their responsibilities.
Instant Export
Share your strategies with a simple text string. Export from the editor and paste directly into the overlay to update your team instantly. No file transfers needed.
Installation Guide
Get XRT running in just a few minutes. Follow these steps to set up the overlay with ACT and start coordinating your raid.
Install ACT and OverlayPlugin
If you haven't already, download and install Advanced Combat Tracker (ACT) with the OverlayPlugin. This is required for any overlay to work with FFXIV.
- Download ACT from the official website
- Install the FFXIV parsing plugin
- Install OverlayPlugin from the Plugin Listing
Add XRT as an Overlay
In ACT, go to Plugins → OverlayPlugin.dll → New overlay. Select "Custom" as the preset and give it a name like "XRT".
- Click "New" in the OverlayPlugin tab
- Choose "Custom" preset type
- Name your overlay "XRT"
Set the Overlay URL
In the overlay settings, set the URL to the XRT overlay address. This tells ACT where to load the overlay from.
https://xivraidtools.vercel.app- Copy the URL below into the "URL" field
- Make sure there are no extra spaces
- Click somewhere else to confirm the URL
Position and Lock the Overlay
Drag the overlay to your desired position on screen. Use the lock icon to toggle between edit mode and gameplay mode. Use the tutorial to help!
- Uncheck "Lock Overlay" to reposition
- Resize by dragging the edges
- Check "Lock Overlay" when done to make it interactable
Load a Raid Plan
Click "Load Plan" in the XRT control bar to open the catalog. Select a preset plan or paste a Base64 code from your raid leader to import a custom plan.
- Built-in presets available for current savage content
- Import custom plans using Base64 codes
- Select your role (MT/OT, M1/M2) in Settings
- Set your plugin overlay to Enable clickthrough to prevent interference
Known Issues
- Can't copy/paste into the unlocked overlay
I'm still working on this. To work around it, in OverlayPlugin unlock and then lock the overlay again, and you'll be able to interact with the input.
